There are so many words in English that are actually spelled with a ‘d’

that you don’t pronounce.

It’s a silent ‘d’.

For example, if I say the word, ‘judge’, the ‘d’ is silent.

It’s spelled with a ‘d’, but I don’t actually pronounce it.

Another example would be the wordsandwich’.

It’s written with a ‘d’, but you don’t actually pronounce it.

I have a list of the most common words.
