Let's look at ways to say hello to people, there are five ways; hi, hello, good morning, good afternoon and good evening.

Let's look at ways to ask people how they are.

We can say; how are you or how's it going?

So we have, hi, hello, good morning, good afternoon, good evening, how are you or how's it going?

How do we reply to these questions?

We can say; fine, thanks or very well thanks; or not bad thank you.
