What if we can't find our mobile phone, I've lost mobile phone.
I want to ask other people if they've seen my mobile phone.
We can say: where's my mobile phone/ or keys?
If you want to ask for a person; where's Stephen?
If we want to ask where something is, like where's the bank or where's the school we can use this phrase.
We can use answer, and say 'I DON'T KNOW'.
So 'where's my mobile phone?', 'I DON'T KNOW'.
If maybe we know, we can say 'are they' or 'is it'.
So I might say, 'where's my key's'.
You might answer 'they are in the living room' or 'they are in the bedroom'.
I might ask, 'where's my mobile phone'.
You might answer 'is it in your bag?'
Sometimes our things go under our bed, or under the sofa.
We can say, is it ___ or are they ___ under?
Is it under your bed or is it under the sofa?
If it's on maybe the kitchen table we can say 'are they on the table?'
So if you can't find something, or someone asks you where something is, you can use these phrases to help you.
